This was a goldfish mural I painted over. These are the only photos I have of it. It was almost complete and nearly perfect. I messed it all up. I had to start over. Things had gone past the point of salvage. Every time I'd look at it? All I could see underneath was the image I really wanted and not the image I'd worked so hard to have. It's hard to know when to call it quits. A very large challenge I struggle with is knowing when to back away. It's just so difficult to finish. I don't always know when it's time to stop...but I always know when I should've stopped.
